5 largest fields of Ukrgazvydobuvannya are depleted by 84%

Ukrgazvydobuvannya reported the level of depletion of its 5 largest deposits.

“We often talk about significant depletion of fields. So, here is the level of depletion of the top 5 largest fields of the company”:

1. Shebelynka – 89%

2. Zakhidno Krestischenske – 90%

3. Yablunovske – 79%

4. Efremivske – 82%

5. Melekhovske – 82%

The company noted that they are investing in the search for new resources that will compensate for production and natural decline. In particular, further exploration of the available areas is being carried out and the development of “greenfields” – new sites begins.

In 2019, Ukrgazvydobuvannya discovered three new fields with a resource base of 2.15 billion m3 of gas, increased 15 billion cubic meters of gas reserves and prepared facilities for drilling with a resource base of 17.7 billion m3 of gas.

To recap, Ukrgazvydobuvannya will pay 23.26 billion UAH of rental payments to the consolidated budget of the country.
