Time to pay: Naftogaz reminded district heating companies of debts

NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine has warned district heating companies that they must pay for the consumed gas by December 15, 2021, the press service reports.

The company emphasized that district heating companies must comply with the terms of the memorandum, according to which the price of gas for the needs of household consumers is UAH 7.42 per cubic meter (including VAT, excluding transportation costs), with payment by instalments for 45 days after the month of delivery.

For budget organizations, the price is UAH 16.39 per cubic meter (including VAT, excluding transportation costs).

The company stressed untimely payments for the gas consumed would lead to the fact that debtor enterprises could no longer receive gas under certain conditions. Gas withdrawals by such consumers will be registered as unauthorized at market prices over UAH 40 per cubic meter.

To recap, the clients of the SoLR will pay for gas at the new tariff.

As reported, Ukraine reduced gas imports from the EU by 92% in November.
