Guaranteed Buyer does not know where to allocate 3 billion of "green" payments

State Enterprise Guaranteed Buyer has sent a letter to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with a request to inform about the results of the check regarding the implementation of settlements with electricity producers with the FIT, the press service reports.

Also, the state-owned enterprise turned to the government for clarification on further actions regarding funds of UAH 3.04 billion, which are on the company's account and were received following Resolution No.1049 "On the provision of a state guarantee on the obligations of NPC Ukrenergo for settlements with electricity producers with the FIT in 2021”.

UAH 3.04 billion was returned to the company's accounts for the analysis of payment orders and confirmation of the legality of the accrued payments. Also, an interdepartmental working group began to work to check the activities of Guaranteed Buyer for the purchase and sale of electricity and settlements with producers of electricity from renewable sources.
