According to the Market Operator, in September 2019, the total volume of purchase and sale of electricity at the “day-ahead” market (DAM) increased by 7.16% compared to the previous month and amounted to 4088.8 GWh. In turn, the volume of purchase and sale at the DAM in the UESU amounted to 3839.0 GWh (+6.1%), on the island of Burshtyn TPP - 249.8 GWh (+26.8%).
According to the results of the month, the weighted average price at the DAM amounted to 1623.41 UAH/MWh, which is 3.32% less than last month. Weighted average prices at the DAM by trade zones:
- the UESU - 1.604.6 UAH/MWh (-3.9%);
- the island of Burshtyn TPP - 1911.3 UAH/MWh (+3.0%).
The total cost of purchased-sold electricity at the DAM amounted to 7965.3 million UAH, which is 3.61% more than in August. The cost of purchased-sold electricity at the DAM by trade zones:
- the UESU - 7392.3 million UAH (+2.0%);
- the island of Burshtyn TPP - 573.0 million UAH (+30.6%).
According to the Operator, the largest share of electricity sold at the DAM in the trade zone of the UESU belongs to the Guaranteed Buyer - 55.75% (PSO + feed-in tariff). For comparison, in August this figure was 53.89%.
