Buslavets was offer to report in the Verkhovna Rada about the situation with NPPs

During the conciliation council of the Verkhovna Rada, people’s deputy from from Servant of the people Serhii Nahornyak made a proposal to summon acting Minister of Energy Olha Buslavets to the Rada. It is reported by Economichna Pravda.

“In May I visited two nuclear power plants – Zaporizhzhia and Rivne. And the station workers askes: “Why the cheapest nuclear generation is limited, but the thermal – expensive and non-environmentally friendly generation – is increasing? As of June 1, 10 out of 15 power units are operating, 5 of which operate with restrictions,” he said.

 He also noted that Energoatom receives less than $1 million per day.

“I propose to summon the minister – Mrs. Buslavets – to hear why the forecast balance was made so unfair, and also to instruct to increase nuclear generation, and to hear a question regarding the renewable energy market participants,” he said.
