The price of electricity on the day-ahead market fell record-breaking

On November 14, the day-ahead market recorded a record low price for electricity – 918.80 UAH per MWh. This was reported by the Market Operator.

The company notes that such a price is due to warm weather and a surplus of electricity in the Interconnected Power System.

It was previously reported that the price of electricity for industry on the day-ahead market fell to a minimum of four months. As of November 5, the price was 1388.02 UAH per MWh.

Recall that Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Energy and Housing and Public Services Andriy Gerus said that electricity imports to the IPS of Ukraine will cease from November 15, 2019.
