Centrenergo did not agree to sell electricity due to low bid prices

On May 18, PJSC Centrenergo entered the Ukrainian Energy Exchange with an offer of 100 MW of the base schedule with a total volume of 292,800 MWh with a delivery period from June 1 to September 30, 2021, the press service reports.

In addition, 50 MW with a total volume of 14,400 MWh was offered with a delivery period from May 20 to May 31, 2021.

As a result of the bidding, the sale of the planned volumes of electricity did not take place because the prices declared by potential buyers were much lower than the minimum price proposed by Centrenergo.

As reported, the new management of Centrenergo casts doubt on the company's reporting for the 4th quarter of 2020.
