Centrenergo sold the entire declared volume of electricity at the UEEX auction

Centrenergo sold the entire declared volume of electricity from the auction of bilateral contracts at the Ukrainian Energy Exchange on Monday, April 12, the press service reports.

In total, 146,400 MWh of base load were sold for the supply period from May 01 to June 30.

 The minimum price was UAH 1259/MWh, the maximum price was UAH 1287/MWh, excluding VAT. The weighted average price of UAH 1,272.8 is 19.4% higher than the average prices of the bilateral agreement's market and by 4.9% the cost of the DAM/IDM resources for the same period last year.

 The next auctions are planned for April 14, 15 and 16. On Wednesday, April 14, it is planned to put up for sale two options: 33,600 MWh for the period 17.04 - 30.04.2021 and 367,200 MWh for the period 01.05 - 30.09.2021 The starting price is UAH 1700/MWh.

 On Thursday, 15 April, 90,000 MWh will be sold for the period 17.04 - 30.06.2021, on Friday, 16 April - 220,800 MWh for the period 01.06 - 31.08.2021.

Earlier, Centrenergo reported that coal from the state mines would be supplied under direct contracts.
