Centrenergo is suing Energorynok

PJSC Centerenergo announced that it had filed a lawsuit against the State Enterprise Energorynok.

The company noted that the lawsuit concerns Energorynok, as the media reported on an alleged claim against Ukrenergo.

"Please note that the claim for the amount of UAH 1,698,606,865.56 is indeed pending consideration by the Economic Court of the city of Kyiv, but this is a claim of Centrenergo against Energorynok to collect debt for the supplied electricity," the statement says.

It is noted that the lost funds create a huge financial burden for the state power generating company, including forcing Centrenergo to look for credit opportunities for payments for coal of state mines.

As a reminder, Centerenergo said that DTEK supplied only 26,357 tons of coal products in July. At the same time, the terms of the contract provided for the supply of 100,000 tons.

DTEK, in turn, reacted to the accusations and said that, fulfilling the terms of the contract, as of July 31, 35 thousand tons of coal were shipped for the amount of UAH 79 million.
