In January-September 2020, Donbasenergo PJSC received a net profit of UAH 1.393 million compared to UAH 69.257 million of a net loss for the same period last year.
According to the company's statement in the National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSCSSM), its net income for the reporting period increased by 9.8% (UAH 429.648 million) to UAH 4 billion 802.369 million, gross profit – by 4,8% (UAH 16.954 million) to UAH 367.828 million, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
Donbasenergo (Slavyanskaya TPP) has produced 2 billion 166.341 million kWh of electricity for nine months (-11.4% compared to January-September-2019), supplied 1 billion 948.009 million kWh (-11.8%), and heat production amounted to 31.311 thousand Gcal (-19.8%).
Besides, Donbasenergo announced the appointment of a general meeting of shareholders on November 28, 2020, at which, in particular, it is planned to approve reports on the results of the company's activities for 2019, as well as to approve the main directions of the company's activities for 2020-2022.
In 2019, Donbasenergo received a net loss of UAH 68.997 million compared to UAH 104.111 million of net profit for 2018.
Donbasenergo owns Starobeshevska TPP (located in the occupied territory) and Slavyanska TPP with a total installed capacity of 2880 MW. The capacity of Slavyanska TPP is 880 MW. At the end of March 2017, the generating company announced the loss of control over the operation of Starobeshevska TPP and of the structural units located in the temporarily uncontrolled territory.
PJSC Energoinvest Holding owns 60.86% of Donbasenergo’s shares. The state owns another 25% of the shares. Currently, control over the company belongs to Maksym Efimov.
