Donbasenergo paid almost UAH 70 million of taxes in March

In March 2020, Donbasenergo transferred taxes and other obligatory payments in the amount of UAH 69.7 million to the state and local budgets, which is UAH 39.6 million, or 131.4% higher than the corresponding figure in 2019, press service reports.

UAH 69.5 million (VAT, environmental tax, fee for special use of water resources, other taxes of national level) were transferred to the state budget and local budget of Donetsk region received UAH 0.3 million (land tax, real estate tax, etc.).

Also, Donbasenergo, as a producer of electricity, has transferred UAH 9.6 million of excise tax, which is 3.2% for each 1 UAH/kWh of generated electrical energy.

Donbasenergo combines two power plants: Slavyanska and Starobeshevska (the last is located in uncontrolled territory since 2014).

From March 2017, the performance indicators of assets, located in the temporarily occupied territory in Donetsk region, are not included in the consolidated financial reports of Donbasenergo in connection with the loss of control over them.

 The total installed capacity of the Slavyanskaya TPP is 880 MW.
