Energoatom: 14 NPP power units operate in the power system

NNEGC Energoatom reported that now in the united energy system of Ukraine there are 14 power units of nuclear power plants.

On November 18, 2021, after the completion of the average planned repair, power unit No. 4 of the Zaporizhzhia NPP was connected to the UES of Ukraine.

It is noted that the block repair was completed 9 days earlier than planned.

At present, the power unit is being loaded at its rated capacity following regulatory restrictions and the balance schedule of NPC Ukrenergo.

Recently, two units were connected to the power system after repairs were completed ahead of schedule: on November 10 - No. 1 of the South-Ukrainian NPP, and on November 12 - No. 3 of the Rivne NPP.

To recap, since November 18, Belarus has cut off electricity supplies to Ukraine.
