Energoatom supplied electricity to Moldova for the first time
NNEGC Energoatom informs that on October 1, 2020, it exported electricity produced by Ukrainian nuclear power plants to Moldova for the first time. 14.9 thousand MWh of electricity will be exported to this country in October.
“Moldova has become a recent and promising direction for electricity export. The first step will serve to establish long-term cooperation, contributing to reliable energy supply to the neighboring countries of Ukraine in the southwest direction,” the message says.
At the same time, SE NNEGC Energoatom is exploring additional opportunities for exporting its own products to the countries of northern Europe and the Baltic states.
To recap, Energoatom sent arrangements on the transfer of its functions to the Cabinet of Ministers for consideration.
