RNPP’s power unit disconnected from the grid for scheduled preventive maintenance

NNEGC Energoatom informs that on January 22, 2021, at 12:03 a.m., the power unit No.1 of Rivne NPP (VVER-440) was disconnected from the power grid for scheduled preventive maintenance.

Scheduled preventive maintenance will be carried out within 45 calendar days and following the repair schedule of operating NPP power units in Ukraine.

Over the past day, three power units with a total load of 1808 MW were in operation at the Rivne NPP.

Over the past day, Rivne NPP power units produced 43.4 million kWh of electricity.

To recap, Energoatom and Ukrhydroenergo become subordinate to the Cabinet of Ministers.

As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers could equally divide 10.25 billion loan allocated by Ukrenergo under state guarantees between Energoatom and renewable energy generation.
