Power unit No.4 of Rivne NPP put out for scheduled preventive maintenance

On September 6, 2020, the power unit No.4 of Rivne NPP (VVER-1000) was disconnected from the power grid to carry out average scheduled preventive maintenance, the press service reports.

It is noted that the scheduled preventive maintenance is designed for 126 calendar days and is carried out in accordance with the repair schedule of the existing power units of Ukrainian NPPs.

During the repair, a work schedule will be carried out, as well as a number of non-routine works.

As of September 7, 2020, 9 out of 15 power units are in operation at Ukrainian nuclear power plants.

It should be reminded that since August 29, KhNPP power unit No.2 was put into scheduled preventive maintenance for 198 days.
