NNEGC Energoatom reported that on September 11, 2021, after the completion of work on the replacement of the current transformer, power unit No.5 of the Zaporizhzhya NPP was connected to the power system.

Today, September 12, at 4:35 am, the power unit was loaded to its current capacity following the balance of production and consumption of electricity established by NPC Ukrenergo.

Now 4 power units of Zaporizhzhia NPP are in operation.

As a reminder, Energoatom is counting on a commodity loan from US financial institutions for the purchase of the Westinghouse block.

As reported, Ukrenergo won the appeal against DTEK in the case of payment of the transmission tariff for the export of electricity.
