2 villages powered down because of shelling

Over the last day, Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo restored the electricity supply to 10.006 families in the Orekhivskyi district, the company reports.

“As a result of damage to the equipment in the city of Zaporizhzhia, 100 subscribers were powered down. 700 more houses of citizens were de-energized to perform repairs at the Misksvitlo, damaged as a result of a car accident. As of the morning, all consumers are connected,” the message says.

Another shelling damaged Polohy networks. As of today’s morning, 2 villages are powered down (Polohy, Voskresenka) and a part of the town of Polohy. In total - 1.256 consumers. Repair works are scheduled for today if there are no threats to the lives of the employees.

As for Huliaypole and Vasilyevskyi district offices, emergency works were not carried out due to active hostilities and lack of access to places of damage to electrical equipment. 

In general, as of June 7, 28.464 consumers in 86 settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region remain without electricity.
