Clients of a large German supplier were left without electricity supplies

Immergruen, a major electricity supplier in Germany, has reported power cuts in some areas of Bremen and Hesse due to a rise in wholesale prices in September, Ekonomichna Pravda reports.

“It will not be the last electricity supplier to take this radical step,” the Handelsblatt reports.

The media reports that the online marketplace for comparing offers Verivox informed users that the company asked it on October 6 to stop brokering in the publication of electricity and gas tariffs.

“We have fulfilled this request and since October 6, we no longer submit tariffs from Immergruen on the portal,” said Verivox.

As reported, the work of British energy companies was stopped because of expensive gas.
