The Ministry of Energy and Energoatom reached a compromise on the revision of the new Charter

Participants in a workshop held at the Ministry of Energy under the chairmanship of acting Energy Minister Olha Buslavets with the participation of representatives of NNEGC Energoatom, discussed the key positions of the new edition of the Charter of NNEGC Energoatom (in particular, the creation of a supervisory board), the press service reports.

“We insist on including a section on the formation of a supervisory board in the Charter of the company,” said Olha Buslavets.

The Ministry of Energy must be sure that, according to the proposed organizational structure, Energoatom fully fulfills all the functions and adheres to the legislation, including international, on the use of nuclear energy.

Recall, Energoatom sued the Ministry of Energy. In its lawsuit, the company asks to invalidate a number of paragraphs of its Charter.

Earlier it was reported that Energoatom stated that the current version of the Charter makes it impossible to carry out personnel reforms and changes in the structure of the company.
