The Ministry of Energy: Electricity tariffs for the population will not increase

The Ministry responded to the dissemination in the media that electricity tariffs for the population will increase from October 1, 2020,.

Tariffs for electricity supply to the population are set by the resolution of the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission No.220 dated February 26, 2015.

The preservation of a fixed preferential electricity tariff for the population in the new model of the electricity market is carried out within the PSO, launched by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 05.06.2019 No.483 “On public interests in the functioning of the electricity market” (as amended).
