DTEK Burshtyns TPP has problems again: power unit No. 1 was shut down

TEK Energy reported that today at 10:41 am, power unit No.1 of Burshtyn TPP was disconnected from the network due to the appearance of a fistula in the front half-furnace of the boiler, Kosatka.Media reports.

The company notes that the repair teams have already begun to eliminate the comments.

“The block's shutdown did not affect the heat and power supply of the Burshtyn energy island,” the message says.

 The station continues to carry a load of 765 MW. Power units No.7,8,9,10 and 12 are in operation.

As a reminder, on August 18, a fire occurred in an oil tank at DTEK Burshtyn TPP.

Earlier, the expert said that the number of accidents at TPPs will only grow.
