Depressurization of a pipeline occurred at Rivne NPP
The State Emergency Situations Service reported that there was a depressurization of the hydrogen pipeline on the territory of Rivne NPP.
“On the territory of Rivne NPP, in an open area near unit No.3 (it is under scheduled preventive maintenance), the hydrogen pipeline (50 mm in diameter) was depressurized and hydrogen burst out without further combustion,” the message says.
The pipeline was blocked by the station personnel. There are no casualties or injuries.
The station is operating normally.
