The Supervisory Board has decided on the Chairman of the Board of Ukrenergo

The Supervisory Board of NPC Ukrenergo reported that on August 2, 2020, at an extraordinary meeting, as a result of a competition, it chose and appointed Volodymyr Kudrytskyi to the position of the Chairman of the Board of the company.

At the end of 2019, the Supervisory Board of the Company approved the requirements for the position of Chairman of the Management Board of Ukrenergo and selected an international recruitment consultant company to manage the selection process.

The high quality and number as well as the variety of applicants ensured a transparent, fair and substantial competition among the candidates. The applicants meeting the job description the best, in the objective view of the Supervisory Board with the assistance provided by the recruitment consultant, were chosen, and assessed by way of personal interviews by the Supervisory Board. Following this intensive and thorough process, the Supervisory Board selected and appointed Mr. Volodymyr Kudrytskyі as the most suitable candidate to fulfill the requirements for the position of the CEO.

Mr. Kudrytskyi’s experience and education combined with a tenure of satisfactory service in the energy sector give him a deep understanding of the future challenges of Ukraine’s electricity TSO. His wide experience and successful track record in senior management positions in Ukrenergo during the presently underway transformation of Ukraine’s electricity sector where he successfully built effective relationships with shareholders, regulators, international investors, and other stakeholders combined with his leadership qualities were among the crucial factors for the decision made.

Mr. Kudritsky meets all requirements for this position. His current role will allow him to commence his duties with immediate effect.
