NEURC fined Cherkasyoblenergo

The National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC), at its meeting, decided to impose penalties on PJSC Cherkasyoblenergo, the press service reports.

It is noted that the basis for the verification is, in particular, the appeal of the customers of connection services for the timely provision by the licensee of the service for connecting the customer's electrical installation to the electrical energy distribution system.

According to the results of the audit, Cherkasyoblenergo was fined UAH 255,000.

“Also, PJSC Cherkassyoblenergo is obliged to bring its actions towards the consumer following the requirements of the Code of Distribution Systems by providing services from a standard connection to electric grids, and inform NEURC by April 15, 2021, with the provision of duly certified copies of confirming documents,” the message says.

Earlier it was reported that NEURC had approved a reduction in distribution tariffs for regional gas companies.
