NEURC fined DTEK Kyiv Region Grids

The National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC), at its meeting on February 24, 2021, decided to impose penalties on PJSC DTEK Kyiv Region Grids, the press service reports.

It is noted that the basis for the verification is, in particular, the appeal of the customers of connection services regarding non-compliance with the procedure for providing the licensee with services for connecting the customer's electrical installation to the electrical energy distribution system, as well as non-compliance with the quality indicators of services for the distribution of electrical energy.

Based on the results of the NEURC inspection, a fine of 85,000 hryvnias was imposed on PrJSC DTEK Kyiv Region Grids.

As a reminder, NEURC may revoke Chernihivgaz Sbyt's license due to abuse on the gas market.

Earlier it was reported that NEURC had proposed to increase the transmission tariff of Ukrenergo to UAH 316.08/MWh.
