NEURC: Vinnytsiaoblenergo violated the terms of connection of consumers

The National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC), at its meeting, considered the results of an unscheduled on-site inspection on consumer complaints on compliance by Vinnytsiaoblenergo JSC with legislative requirements in the field of the electricity market, the press service reports.

According to the results of the audit, it was established that JSC Vinnytsiaoblenergo:

  • violated the conditions for connecting electrical installations of 5 consumers to electrical networks, in particular, significantly exceeded the terms for the provision of connection services;
  • the deadlines for issuing technical conditions for connection, submitting comments to draft agreements with consumers were not observed;
  • did not correctly determine the type of connection to power grids;
  • unlawfully refused to provide consumers with interconnection services and the like.

"NEURC decided to oblige JSC Vinnytsiaoblenergo to settle all violations and comments and bring its activities following the requirements of the legislation, to inform the Commission and the NEURC sector in Vinnytsia region about the measures taken," the message says.

To recap, NEURC has extended the ban on imports of electricity from Russia and Belarus.
