Bank account holders will be able to pay for utilities by phone.
The corresponding project was initiated by the Ministry of Social Policy. This was said during the presentation of the educational series “Payment of utilities online. Stay home”, said Deputy Minister of Social Policy Vitalii Muzychenko, UNN reports.
“Today we absolutely clearly understand that not everyone will have the opportunity to pay for utility bills via the Internet. Based on the fact that not everyone has the appropriate devices or smartphones, or computer equipment. Therefore, here, in fact, we initiated such a pilot, possibly non-standard approach, and at the last meeting of the government, it was decided that citizens who have bank accounts have the opportunity, using the "hot lines", to contact their bank ... and make an appropriate payment. This is also a distance form, which, in our opinion, will be more inherent in older people”, said Vitalii Muzychenko.
He noted that it is necessary to go through the identification process so that the bank employee was sure that it is the client who is calling and wants to manage his funds.
