Electricity supplies from Belarus to stop from November 18
From November 18, Belarus will stop recently resumed supplies of electricity to Ukraine, Interfax-Ukraine reports with reference to the Ministry of Energy of Belarus.
"Electricity supplies to Ukraine will be terminated from November 18 following the established procedure for interaction within the framework of contractual relations," the press service of the Ministry of Energy said.
The ministry also said that further supplies of electricity to Ukraine will be considered by the Belarusian side, taking into account the technical capabilities.
The reasons for the termination of supplies are not indicated in the message.
To recap, the first power unit of the BelNPP was disconnected from the network in Belarus.
