The prosecutor's office announced the suspicion of the Ukrenergo’s official in cooperating with the aggressor

The head of the department of one of the regional centres of NPC Ukrenergo was notified of suspicion in cooperating with the aggressor state, the company itself commented on this, the Kyiv city prosecutor's office reports. 

The official, being in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region, voluntarily agreed to cooperate with the occupation authorities and gave his consent to take the position of director of the enterprise created by the occupation authorities “Mariupol backbone electrical networks of the State Unitary Enterprise of the DPR”. 

“After being appointed to this position, the suspect, together with the leadership of the so-called DPR, committed actions aimed at disconnecting electrical power from the Unified Energy System of Ukraine, unauthorized transfer of power lines and substations to the occupying authorities to meet their needs,” the report says.
