The Verkhovna Rada again failed to vote for Vitrenko's appointment as Minister of Energy

Today, January 28, at a Verkhovna Rada meeting, Yurii Vitrenko was not appointed First Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Energy, Kosatka.Media reports.

204 deputies voted in favour of his appointment, 45 against, 62 abstained, 38 did not vote.

As a reminder, the Committee on Energy and Housing and Utilities Services supported Vitrenko's candidacy for the post of Minister of Energy.

On December 17, 2020, the Verkhovna Rada also did not appoint the former executive director of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Yurii Vitrenko to the post of Minister of Energy and Deputy Prime Minister. 186 people's deputies supported him.
