The Regulator has reduced the tariff for the transmission of electricity for Ukrenergo

The National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission adopted Resolution No.1781 “On Amending the Resolution of the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission of July 12, 2019 No.1411”, according to which from 01.09.2019, the tariff for electricity transmission services of NPC Ukrenergo was reduced to the level of 116.54 UAH /MWh (excluding VAT). Prior to the adopted Resolution, the tariff was 312.14 UAH/MWh.

“The National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission informs electricity suppliers that it is mandatory to take into account the adopted tariff level for electricity transmission services when setting the price for electric energy and making payments for consumed electricity with consumers since September 2019”, the statement said.

Recall that earlier the Administrative Court of Appeal had refused to satisfy the appeal of NPC Ukrenergo about low tariffs for several industrial plants.
