The Regulator approved the investment program of Ukrenergo for 2020

NEURC approved the investment program of NPC Ukrenergo for 2020, according to which the company doubles its investment compared to the previous year. This was reported by the press service.

This time, their volume was approved at UAH 6.4 billion, compared to UAH 3.1 billion in 2019.

The increase in investment is due to the fact that an intensive financing of a significant part of the projects that were designed and prepared for the start of construction work in previous years is planned in 2020.

At the same time, UAH 5.1 billion (about 80% of the total amount of funds) will be received from loans attracted from international financial organizations, such as the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the German government bank KfW and other.

UAH 4.8 billion for the technical re-equipment and reconstruction of substations, overhead lines, etc. and UAH 1.6 billion for new construction are provided from the total budget of the investment program for 2020.

Ukrenergo, under quarantine conditions, continues to fully work on the construction of all strategically important facilities, as well as the repairs necessary to ensure stable operation of the power system.

In 2019, Ukrenergo completed an investment program of 95.2%.
