Program error stops electricity trading on the IDM

SE Market Operator reported that on 10.01.2020 trading on the intraday market (IDM) was temporarily stopped.

According to the company, an extraordinary situation arose on IDM related to the partial disability of Market Operator’s software regarding verification of block applications for the sale of electric energy on the IDM regarding exceeding the maximum sales volume determined by the transmission system operator.

“Now SE Market Operator, together with the software developer, is making every effort to eliminate the reasons that led to such a halt in trading on the IDM”, the statement said.
