The electricity tariff for residential consumers at the level of UAH 1.44/kWh with consumption up to 250 kWh/month will be in effect from October 1, 2021, to April 30, 2022. This is stated in the promulgated resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, reports Mind.ua.
According to the document, for household consumers with a consumption of more than 250 kWh/month, the tariff will not change – UAH 1.68/kWh. This price is retained for collective household consumers, hostels, which are calculated for electricity on a common meter in terms of electricity consumption by individuals for their own needs, with the exception of professional and economic activities.
Also, at this rate, electricity will be paid for apartment buildings, including dormitories, for technical purposes and lighting of courtyards, steps and license plates, as well as summer cottages, dacha construction and garage construction cooperatives, garden societies, cooperatives for the operation of pumps and lighting territories. In addition, the same tariff has been retained for legal entities-owners or asset holders used for compact settlement of internally displaced persons in terms of satisfying the everyday needs of such persons, and for religious organizations for household needs.
In the presence of a two-zone meter, individual and collective consumers, in particular hostels, pay half of the tariff from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, the rest of the time – the entire tariff. In the presence of a three-zone meter – 1.5 tariffs from 8:00 am to 11:00 am and from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm, as well as 0.4 tariffs at night from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, the rest of the time – fixed rate.
On August 11, the Cabinet of Ministers lowered the electricity tariff for households consuming less than 250 kW per month.
