Ukrenergo’s top manager quit the company due to wage restrictions

Andrii Nemirovskyi, deputy chairman of the board of NPC Ukrenergo, announced on his Facebook page that he was leaving the company.

According to him, the decision to leave the post has nothing to do with the internal situation or pressure within Ukrenergo. The only reason is a decrease in his salary in accordance with the requirements of the April amendments to the law of Ukraine "On the state budget 2020".

“During my work at Ukrenergo, I didn’t have any other income, except for my salary, therefore there is no“safety cushion”. Leaving the company was absolutely not an easy step, because there are several projects that I would like to complete. Unfortunately, the state has made a decision that does not allow me to continue implementing them,” he wrote.
