Three NPP employees were tested positive for COVID-19 – Energoatom

As of April 27, 3 confirmed cases of coronavirus were recorded among the personnel of two nuclear power plants of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service.

Two workers fell ill at Zaporizhzhia NPP, they were taken for treatment, and one worker fell ill at Khmelnytskyi NPP, who is also being hospitalized.

In addition, a case of COVID-19 disease was confirmed by one employee of SC Atomremontservis NNEGC Energoatom located in the city of Slavutich and one employee of Atomenergomash in the city of Energodar.

“All identified persons who had contact with the sick, aimed at self-isolation, the relevant notifications were sent to medical institutions at their place of residence,” the company said.

It is noted that there were no cases of infection were detected among the critical personnel of the NPP.
