Energoatom’s employee was tested positive for Covid-19

Energoatom reported that an employee of the directorate, which is located in Kyiv, was tested positive for Covid-19.

It is noted that the patient is in hospital treatment, doctors assess his condition as satisfactory. The circumstances of coronavirus infection are being clarified.

“Anti-epidemic measures have been strengthened in the office buildings of the Energoatom Directorate, constant disinfection of office premises and common areas, mandatory temperature screening, personal protective equipment and antiseptic solutions for disinfection are provided to personnel. All employees who had contacts with the sick, aimed at self-isolation”, the report said.

With the beginning of quarantine on the territory of Ukraine, the company transferred the majority of personnel to the remote operation mode, the operational personnel of Ukrainian nuclear power plants are isolated, and critical groups are located in separate rooms of hotel complexes.

For the period of the quarantine measures for this category of personnel, an optimized work schedule and an isolated passage to/from workplaces without contact with other personnel has been developed, and their transportation to industrial sites is carried out on a separate route.
