Ukrenergo has limited the import and export of electricity from Russia and Belarus

NPC Ukrenergo limited the import and export of electricity in the directions of Russia and Belarus from April 12 to 30. This was reported by the press service.

"The auction office in accordance with the Decree of NEURC, dated April 8, 2020 No.766 “On the actions of participants on the electricity market during the period of quarantine and restrictive measures related to the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19)”, reports on the limitation of capacity from April 12, 2020 to April 30, 2020 in the directions Russia-Ukraine, Belarus-Ukraine, Ukraine-Belarus and Ukraine-Russia to 0 MW”, it is said in a statement.

To recap, on April 8, NEURC decided to suspend electricity imports from Russia and Belarus for the period of quarantine.
