Ukrenergo paid 450 million UAH to the Guaranteed Buyer

NPC Ukrenergo paid 454 million UAH to the Guaranteed Buyer to compensate for the cost of purchasing renewable electricity on the “green” tariff.  This amounts to about 30% of the total projected amount of debt for July 2019 – 1.58 billion UAH.  The final amount of debt will be formed after the close of the current month.  This was reported by the press service of the company.

Recall, due to the temporary termination of Ukrenrego tariffs in the second half of 2019 by the court, in July the company issues invoices for its services under the old tariff valid until July 1, 2019 – 57.4 UAH/MWh.  At the same time, a new column “Recommended for payment” appeared in the invoices, in which the invoice is issued at new rates for the second half of 2019: 347.43 UAH/MWh – for transmission services and 8.90 UAH/MWh – for dispatch (operational-technological) management services.

“Now market participants pay for Ukrenergo services unevenly and at different rates: at the old or recommended prices, and many do not pay anything at  all”, Ukrenergo reported.
