Ukrhydroenergo paid UAH 1.2 billion in dividends to the state budget

On June 30, Ukrhydroenergo transferred UAH 1.2 billion in dividends for 2020 to the state budget of Ukraine, the press service reports.

“Now the company has provided the largest amount of revenues to the state budget from the payment of dividends in the energy sector and entered the top ten key payers of dividends in Ukraine in 2020,” the company said.

Since the beginning of 2021, the company has paid UAH 3.7 billion to the budgets of all levels, with a target of UAH 2.5 billion.

To recap, the World Bank will provide Ukrhydroenergo with $212 million for energy storage and solar farms.

As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers raised the dividend rate for Ukrhydroenergo by 20%.
