In April 2020, SC Guaranteed Buyer purchased 4,702 thousand MWh of electricity, the press service reports.
It is noted that compared to March, the total amount of purchased electricity decreased by ≈32%.
The state-owned enterprise acquired 3,286 thousand MWh of electricity from SC NNEGC Energoatom and Ukrhydroenergo to ensure the availability of electricity for residential consumers.
Compared to March, the volume of electricity purchased for fulfillment of PSO decreased by ≈44%.
In April, Guaranteed Buyer purchased 1,064 thousand MWh from producers of electricity from renewable sources.
The increase in the purchase of alternative electricity amounted to about 12% compared to March.
In April 2020, Guaranteed Buyer sold:
3 343 thousand MWh of electricity – to universal service providers;
1 212 thousand MWh – on the day-ahead market and the intraday market;
148 thousand MWh – to NPC Ukrenergo.
