The Ministry of Energy approved preliminary contracts for the sale and purchase of electricity under the new PSO model, announced First Deputy Energy Minister Yurii Vlasenko at a meeting of the auction committee for the sale of electricity under bilateral agreements, the press service reports.
During the meeting, preliminary contracts for the purchase and sale of electricity were approved:
- between NNEGC Energoatom and a universal service provider;
- between NNERG Energoatom and the operator of distribution systems – to compensate for the technological consumption of electrical energy for distribution.
The forms of additional agreements to such agreements were also approved.
The contracts stipulate the procedure for the sale and purchase of electrical energy, the actions of the parties in the event of a temporary suspension or reduction in the sale (supply) of electrical energy, and the like.
“This is the final stage of regulatory preparations for the launch of the PSO financial model from October 1 this year. We have agreed on the details of new sales and purchase agreements with NNEGC Energoatom, providers of universal services for the TSO, to ensure a stable and reliable power supply to the population under the conditions of the new PSO mechanism,” Yurii Vlasenko noted.
