Over the next 20 years, six nuclear reactors will be built in Poland. This was reported by the representative of the Polish government for energy infrastructure Peter Naimsky.
He added that the ruling party wants coal to remain the main raw material for energy production, but added that this is why nuclear energy should be developed.
“If we want to save coal, then we must have energy sources without emissions, such power plants that do not produce carbon dioxide. Of course, it refers to renewable energy sources, in particular, wind power plants, but also nuclear power plants. Six reactors is our 20-year plan”, he said.
Earlier it was reported that by 2033 the first nuclear power plant will be built in Poland.
