Westinghouse and Energoatom agreed to build two power units at KhNPP
During the international conference "Nuclear Opportunities for the Development of the Country", Westinghouse (USA) and NNEGC Energoatom signed two cooperation agreements providing for the start of projects for the construction of two new power units at the Khmelnytskyi NPP using AP1000 technology, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
One of the agreements provides for the purchase of services from an American company for the design of power units, the other for the purchase of a simulator and equipment with long service life.
To recap, preparatory work on the completion of power unit No.3 has begun at the KhNPP.
