NJSC Naftogaz reduced the gas price for household consumers and other consumers with PSO by 7.3% (436.1 UAH) in June 2019 compared to May. Thus, in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No.485 of June 5, the gas price for the needs of the population will be 5553.89 UAH/thousand cubic meters (excluding VAT, shipping costs and supplier surcharges).
According to the government's decision, the gas price for population is formed by Naftogaz on the basis of 4 indicators, among them: the price of gas for commercial consumers over the past month, the average customs value of gas for the past month, the average weighted price at the UEE and Government Decree No.867 of October 19, 2018. Of these indicators, the lowest price is chosen by Naftogaz, which determines the price of gas for the following month. At this time, the Ukrainian Energy Exchange, at its lowest price, determined the cost of gas for domestic consumers in June.
As a result, the following gas distribution companies are characterized by the largest gas prices for population:
• PJSC Mykolayivgaz –7896.51 UAH / thousand cubic meters;
• Gazovik LLC. – 7892.19 UAH / thousand cubic meters;
