According to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Mining, 10 500 million cubic meters of natural gas were produced in Ukraine for 6 month of 2019. It is by 2.8% or 289 million cubic meters more compared to the same period of 2018.

Gas production performance in 2019 looks as follows:

  • January – 1 815 million cubic meters;
  • February – 1 643 million cubic meters;
  • March – 1 815 million cubic meters;
  • April – 1 741 million cubic meters;
  • May – 1 781 million cubic meters;
  • June – 1 694 million cubic meters.

NJSC Naftogaz for January-June produced 8 300 million cubic meters (+1 400 million cubic meters in June) or 79% of the total. Ukrgazvydobuvannya produced 7 700 million cubic meters (+1 300 million cubic meters), Ukrnafta – 600 million cubic meters (+100 million cubic meters).

Top three leaders among private gas producers remain unchanged:

  1. PJSC Naftovydobuvannya- 816 million cubic meters (+136 million cubic meters);
  2. ZAO PC Ukrnaftoburinnya – 358 million cubic meters (+63 million cubic meters);
  3. Esko-Pivnich LLC – 291 million cubic meters (+45 million cubic meters).

The average daily gas production, which has been declining for 4 consecutive months and does not change its negative trend, amounted to 56.46 million cubic meters per day in June.

Average daily production performance in 2019:

  • January – 58.57 million cubic meters;
  • February – 58.70 million cubic meters;
  • March – 58.55 million cubic meters;
  • April – 58.04 million cubic meters;
  • May – 57.57 million cubic meters;
  • June – 56.46 million cubic meters.
