Main indicators of the gas sector of Ukraine (April-2019)

According to results of April 2019, Ukrainian gas companies produced 1/7 bln cubic meters of natural gas. It is 1/8% more compared to the same month of 2018. Gas production performance in 4 months of 2019:
• January – 1.815 bln cubic meters;
• February – 1.643 bln cubic meters;
• March – 1.815 bln cubic meters;
• April – 1.7 bln cubic meters.
In total natural gas production in 4 months of 2019 increased by 3% (+0,203 bln cubic meters) compared to January – April 2019 up to 6.973 bln cubic meters.

Natural gas transit through the territory of Ukraine in April increased by 9,2% (+0,7 bln cubic meters) up to 8.3 bln cubic meters. Gas transit performance in 4 months of 2019:
• January – 7.61 bln cubic meters;
• February – 6.21 bln cubic meters;
• March – 7.18 bln cubic meters;
• April – 8.3 bln cubic meters.
Total gas transit volume during 4 months – 29.3 bln cubic meters (+6%).

Natural gas imports in April was 0.88 bln cubic meters, it is 120% more than in April 2018. Gas imports performance in 4 months of 2019:
• January – 0.247 bln cubic meters;
• February – 0.666 bln cubic meters;
• March – 0.635 bln cubic meters;
• April – 0.88 bln cubic meters.
In 4 months 2.428 bln cubic meters of natural gas were imported. It is 10% more compared to the same period of 2018.

As of the beginning of May underground gas storage facilities (UGSF) were loaded by 30% – 9.43 bln cubic meters. It is 19.4% more compared to the last year.
