$2.9 billion from Gazprom for medicine and infrastructure – Zelenskyy's proposal

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed spending the $2.9 billion that Naftogaz of Ukrainy received from Gazprom to implement infrastructure projects and develop medicine. This was reported by Economic Truth with reference to the press service of the President.

“We plan to additionally allocate funds for the construction of roads – this is our infrastructure priority, other infrastructure projects, the medical sector and energy efficiency. One of the plans is to build more than 200 reception departments of medical care throughout Ukraine”, the report said.

In December NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine received $2.918 billion in compensation from Gazprom pursuant to a decision of the Stockholm arbitration.

Earlier it was reported that Naftogaz had already used part of the funds received from Gazprom.
