Azerbaijan retains leadership in terms of gas supplies to Turkey
In January-July 2020, Azerbaijan exported 6 billion 538.82 million cubic meters of gas to Turkey from the Shah Deniz field, which is 23.1% higher than the same period last year, Angi reports.
In July, 1 billion 93.83 million cubic meters of Azerbaijani gas were supplied to Turkey, which amounted to 35.17% of the total volume of gas supplies to Turkey (an increase compared to July 2019 - by 21.54%).
In July, Azerbaijan retained its leadership in terms of gas supplies to Turkey. The second place is occupied by Russia, which accounted for 27.11% of all supplies; the third is Iran (21.36%), the fourth – Algeria (12.47%).
According to the Turkish Energy Market Regulation Council EPDK, Azerbaijan in March 2020 took the first position in gas supplies to Turkey.
