Due to transit, gas transmission tariffs for Ukrainian consumers will decrease – Vitrenko

The Executive Director of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Yuriy Vitrenko announced a reduction in gas transmission tariffs for domestic consumers. He wrote about this on his Facebook page.

“And now, due to the fact that transit through the territory of Ukraine was saved, tariffs for gas transmission for domestic consumers will decrease. This is important for both domestic and industrial gas consumers, for the competitiveness of the economy”, the message says.

Recall that Yuriy Vitrenko called gas transit tariffs profitable and competitive. According to his calculations, given the total volume of guaranteed capacities (65 billion cubic meters in 2020 and then 40 billion for the next 4 years, that is 225 billion cubic meters over 5 years), it turns out that for a thousand cubic meters of pre-booked capacities Gazprom will pay at least $ 32.
